Vejlefjord Sanatorium opened on March 1, 1900 and was Denmark's first tuberculosis sanatorium. The scenic location, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, was carefully chosen by founder Dr. Christian Saugman, because tuberculosis patients should have plenty of fresh air, rest and exercise. Hotel Vejlefjord still holds to the basic principles of good food, fresh air, peace and rest to this day. We offer an atmosphere that reflects the hotel's history and creates an atmosphere of relaxation. The decor in the hotel and in the rooms is also kept in an atmosphere that reflects the hotel's history. There is free WI-FI and you can enjoy our panoramic view of Vejle Fjord from our large terrace. In the Thermal Baths you will find both various hot and cold pools, saunas and a steam bath. Both spa entrance and spa treatments are an additional purchase and must be booked in advance of your stay.
